Why is everyone hating on Scott Mills? It is clear that he is mocking Chris Stark in a FRIENDLY way. If you watch the whole interview, you will see Scott laughing at several points and his commentary really cracked me up. And at the end, he does acknowledge that the interview was well-received by viewers and was a good thing in the end.

I've been to hundreds of the One on one interviews, Panel interviews , Cast and Production staff, Producers, Directors interviews and they all hate having to do it because its all the same situation that they get rushed to as many times a day as possible starting first thing in the morning leading on into late night day in and day out for about 5 or 6 weeks. Its fake friendly interviewers or fake intellectual interviewers or like the guy here a combination of both. When a performer has something to catch their interest they wake up, actors are reactionary after all. So the genuine and open friendly and real guy who had the opportunity to speak with her did exactly the right thing. He chatted her up. She never gets that with her trained interviewers, she was woken up not only by his innocence but by his unique take on interviewing. Mila has had a thousand interviews with the Scott Mills of the world and she wont remember a single one of them. She does remember Chris who is a one off that ended up brightening her otherwise prosaic over organized and overly repetitive day. Being funny is part of any interviewers pack of tools but being genuine? Wow, that's a whole new game.

Omair Sheikh It's British humour... we have a very dark, dry humour. There are two different tyoes of insults in Britian, one is a show of affection (that's what this is, and every Brit does it day to day) and one is to insult, to an outsider it can seem strange when they can't tell the difference, but as this was broadcasted on the BBC, we Brits can tell... no malice was involved, no jealosy, just lad banter, like you'd have in a pub with your mates...

Brits are just so straight forward and I think fellow brits are used to it..but some people think of it as rude because of so much straight forwardness. for example this interview its like the host is scolding his fellow journalist or interviewer of some sort I think what the host is saying is a good advice but some people think of it as a public humiliation.

Vennytube I'm surprised how few people can see what is actually happening in this interview. Mila is insulted from the get go that she has to deal with this little boy for the rest of the interview, so she starts to play a game with him to draw out his stupidity, she's relentless in doing this and does an amazing job, everyone in the room is aware of this except for Chris. He even then goes as far as to insult her by saying she should work behind the bar for the pleasure of himself and the boys. if you look closely you can see this is not well received, i disagree with feminism and even i can't believe how stupid that statement is. you can see her eyes narrow, yet she remains cool, i don't know much about Mila but from this interview it's obvious she's very intellectual which is common with A list actors. to top it off, she does his job for him because he's clearly incompetent and bam, he's back talking about his friends, he reveals just how ridiculously stupid he is and even Mila laughs at his face (and so does everyone else in the room) but here's the kicker, he's still too stupid to realize it. lol. i wouldn't necessarily sack him if i was his boss, some people need to make these mistakes to grow up and learn but i mean dam, if he doesn't learn from that he is doomed.
