As a massive Amy Winehouse fan I never listen to covers of her songs because people try to imitate her voice but most of them fail, and it always feels like emotion is missing.....But this guy made it his own in a way, and you can feel the emotion just oozing from him. Amazing cover!

Saw him in 2018 at board masters Newquay at the land of the saints stage. Saw him in front of maybe 200 people by chance. I wanted to get out the rain. 3 years later in 2021. I saw him on the main stage in front of 50,000, Sam fender deserves the world. Just as good as when I first saw him. He doesn’t care if it’s 1-10-100-1000-10000-100000 people, he will perform and be flawless. A true generational talent for the indie rock scene in the UK. Now a phenomenon. What a pleasure it was to see him before he blew up. Same man. Same music. Pure class.
