My father is Mechanical Engineer and worked in many states across India. Now he is transferred to Sitamarhi, Bihar. He tells me, he never faced such cast based discrimination as in Bihar. When he went to rent a house, first question was asked was about his cast. Despite having higher authority and experience, he feels being isolated among his fellow workers because we are from backward caste. Most of the Indians argue that reservation based on caste should be finished. Although being from backward caste I too support such argument. But these situations adds fresh Sparks to retain reservation based on caste. I hope education and awareness among the people will demolish this castle of caste based politics.
