Man management 101. Ferguson knew psychologically how to motivate players. Something that cannot be taught because not one player under ferguson has become a good manager

Man management at its finest. Ferhiwot knew which players he had to push hard and which players to put his arm around them. It comes down to knowing the personality of your players.

These players could "stand in the fire" because they grew up in a time when you had to stand up for yourself and take responsibility. Now criticism is taken as an offense and being a victim is glorified.

The whole point of Ferguson flaming Evra despite him playing well was so that it would send a message indirectly to other players in the changing room that couldn't take that criticism
@Ali-gz4ec Жыл бұрын
There is a method to disciplining the top performer/highest earner more harshly than other players. It sends a clear message that nobody can get away with anything less than 100% effort and desire.

That's some 3D reverse psychology - convincing the best performer he's playing crap in order to strike fear into the others and get a better performance. No wonder Fergie achieved so much. His man management was on another level.
