Being in the U.S., I had never heard of this woman. But watching this and other recent clips, it's apparent that she was brave, honest and articulate in the telling of her predicament.

CrazyWedz Being in the US was no impediment for me to know Lynda Bellingham because she starred as Mrs Herriott in All Creatures Great & Small, a BBC series aired in its entirety on Public Television every Saturday evening. Scant exposure, but such a blessing.

I love her saying: "And I'm not a celebrity, I'm an actress." We learn so much about her mindset in that single & singular distinction she makes. RESPECT. Miss her v. much.

She’d pass 5 days after this interview... We don’t know what the future holds for any of us. Live in the ‘now’ and make the most of it.

I've only just heard that Lynda Bellingham passed away yesterday, and I'm so sad for her family. The way her diagnosis was delivered to her was awful...same thing happened to my dad when he had oesophageal cancer, and I accompanied him to all his appointments so I know how it feels to have the bombshell dropped when you just think you're seeing a specialist again for further investigation. Don't know if it's a tactic they use to get the bad news out of the way quickly, but it's cruel. Lynda, you will be remembered very fondly, rest in peace. x

I really can't believe she was told like that! Accidentally... Makes me feel angry at the unprofessionalism that we all pay for either privately or through our taxes... RIP sweetheart xx

God bless her. Poor lady and so terrible to see her obviously ill. Hard to believe her thoughts, mind body and soul have passed on and she is no more. Isn't life impossible to fathom sometimes? RIP lady and thank you.
