He’s clearly got a lot of potential. The only two things that concern me, and they haven’t raised their head yet, is what is his discipline like. The travelling community aren’t known for their monk like discipline and work ethic when it comes to training and nutrition, neither are the jokers and fun loving individuals (Hatton, Frankie gavin) hopefully McCann is different.

Whatever your background and whether you are boy or man it's the best thing that you can do hard lad as you'll learn more of what life's about in a fight than in years at school. May your punches be strong and may you be so proud of yourself as you prove what you're made of. Hope that you can hurt your opponent really very badly with lots of powerful repeated punishing punches to his head and face. Can you?

Can you really be superstar as a bantamweight? Causal fans generally prefer watching fights at slightly heavier weights. I cannot remember the last real 'superstar' who big fights were below welterweight (Duran, Mayweathers signature fights were at welterweight). Doubt he got the natural size to fight in this division.

Saw him a couple of years ago and thought he was good, very very slick, fast and powerful with good movement. Last fight got tested a bit but came through well, he's another of this next generation of kids who seems to have their heads firmly screwed on. I hope he stays that way and gets a title, he's very exciting to watch.
