Before Atlanta he was in Leipzig which further helped his development. More young English players should go abroad specially at a young age. Abraham just scored the winner for AC Milan in UCL couple nights ago. Also, couple seasons ago Milan reached semi-finals of UCL with Tamore in defence and last season too, with Sancho taking Dortmund to the finals by breaking the dribbling record in the semi-finals against PSG. But both Tamore and Sancho missed out on England calls up because English coaches and fans too think EPL is the best in the world therefore players playing in EPL get prioritised for selection for internatiol duties. That might be main reason we don't see more young players going abroad alongside with money - EPL has largest wage bill in the world.
