You'll always see that from him, no matter the situation, his composure is something else. He had some rough times at Sporting as well and i have never seen him losing it(off the pitch), bs-ing, blaming a player for a mistake(as long as the player gives his everything) or using past records to dodge responsabilities. When you hear a coach talk about the love of his life(Benfica) while training Sporting(biggest rival) and still manage to be respectful to both teams, stay focused and achieve glory you know you have something different. That's him and that's why he wins, he gets the whole club behind him, specially the locker room. Time is all he needs now

also like SAF he has temperament and age to have legendary career. hes 39! he could coach 15 years and still be in his 50's. that stability and stature is how you get dynasty. players know at madrid ancelotti is boss and institution . they all get in line and always less bs. really think its so positive portugal the nation and league have such an unbelievable generation coming up , and him being a favorite of players should have incredible recruitment opportunities . united will be desred destination and helps so you dont overpay all the time. benfica pride themselves like brighton in youth talent scouting and then moving them on at 19-22 to prem, la liga , serie a etc. . ronaldo adores him and hes not easiest to impress. he calls amorin the poet because of how articulate he is. brazil is another place he could be massive draw from having common language and similar cultures . its a home run for potential and sky is the limit.

As a 40 year old Benfica fan, i still remember that Ruben was one of the best midfielfers i've seen playing on the team. Not because he had "out of this world" technique, but because he had very high-technique, seemed like he always gave what he could and he could also make like 4 or 5 different midfield positions with the same quality. When i saw that and it "clicked" for me, i realized that, on top of it all, he was a very intelliget player! Immo often a very unsung hero of one of the best Benfica eras in the past few decades.

👍 I thought so too: plus he doesn't use a particularly massive range of vocab, nor does he use the most directly appropriate dictionary definition every time either. So how does he do it? Well, it's about expression. During those pauses and glances, moments of emphasis, serious then smiling looks and so on, you can almost see how he actually feels. It's a human conveyance of emotion for sure, because if the same words came out of an AI voice without those physical expressions, I'm certain I'd be far less connected.

@@apxpremium1047 What are you talking about, They leave the training ground at lunch time lmao, They have the option to stay at carrington and use the canteen for lunch but its not mandatory, This is literally common knowledge, They never train after lunchtime, They train for 2-3 hours per day and thats it which includes tactical, cardio and any pre game meetings, Ole used to allow them to start training at 10am and he was labelled as being soft because of it and that totalled only 2 and a half hours of training, Then they use the canteen at 12:30 and then they'd go home, Ten haag made them come in 1 hour earlier at 9:00 and left at 12:30, And even then they didnt get out on the training pitch till 9:30, There is no 3 hour training and THEN tactical and recovery lmao, everything is in that 3 hours. And every single one of them have left by 12:30-1pm.

@ I’m talking from my experience when I played semi professional. I would start at 10am and some days be there to 2pm and some days I was there till 6pm depending on how many games in a week or what my body was feeling. I don’t think it will be less time training for actual professionals

@@apxpremium1047 You think wrong lmao, I just said its common knowledge, Theyre all outta there by 1pm, Every day, No exceptions, And it was widely known ole let them start at 10am, Everyone knows that, When have you ever seen a training video of a prem team training under flood lights? never, Theyre all gone by 1pm, You see rashy in town at half 1, You do realise they are only out on the training pitch for about 1 hour to 90minutes right? Like literally, They walk out onto the training pitch at 9:30-10am and theyre off there no later than 11-11:30, Crazy to think that some people think they actually train for 3-4 hours a day lmao, Mate, Go to a training session, Any team in the prem and just see it for yourself, They do few laps around the pitch to warm up, few stretches, 30mins tactical and yappin, 30minutes of set pieces and some rondos, Then they'll spend 30minutes warming down and cardio inside, Then they'll have lunch. Thats it, Nothing special, This aint the 90s anymore where you're made to run 100 laps and stay till you're bleeding from the feet.

As a Braga supporter, there was no luck involved there. We went from poor football and losing against everybody, to dominating all games in just 1 week. He built a new offense with 1 academy player at the time (Francisco Trincao) and Braga went flying!

As a portuguese, I think most Portuguese people can handle English well, though they may initially speak with a stronger accent and occasional hesitations due to a lack of practice and thinking in Portuguese before translating in their heads. However, you'll likely notice improvement with each interview-much like how his teams usually progress with every training session or game.
