It’s unfair to blame strictly; this has happened repeatedly on many ‘reality’ &/or competition shows - & in fact, in people’s every day lives. I had the best year of my life in ‘06, & then had a breakdown New Year’s Eve going into ‘07. The reality of everything (& the inevitable change that comes with it) is often far too overwhelming to bare.

People have their opinions about her but one thing for sure you cannot deny she was a beautiful dancer. The way she moved, to the emotion shown in her dances was something special. She was a beautiful woman and will always be. May her memory Live on. This was shown on world mental health day, a day where awareness was made for mental health. Let us all remember the beautiful life we lost sadly due to mental health which sadly took a turn for the worst following her treatment. “in a world where you can be anything, be kind”

@Tucker Twatted you mean. I don't know what happened there but he retracted the complaint and denied that she had attacked him. Apparently the blood on her belonged to her and because he had been fast asleep, when she awoke him, the first thing he saw was a lot of blood, as well as her being hysterical, and he immediately assumed the blood was his when he called 999. The press were too quick to point out that if a man hits a woman over the head then the expectation is that he should go to jail and that as she appeared to be a man abuser she should be punished equally. None of the true story is in the public domain. All we know, on the record, is the above, and that he stood by her to the end.

@Tucker he showed the cut he had on his head to prove how small his injury was. The majority of blood was from her cutting herself because she had become emotionally unstable. What she did was wrong but what the press portrayed was a complete fabrication. And those lies created a negative momentum of public opinion that led to her death. Celebrities don't have any special emotional powers to deal with these situations, I know if the same thing happened to me I may well consider doing what she did. If she was an ordinary person (not famous), no one would have found out and she would have been cautioned by the police and not subjected to a media circus and harsh public judgement. Nothing that happened her was fair. My heart goes out to her family and friends. 💚🙏

@@tracy9157 lots of domestic violence victims retract their statement for various reasons. the fact that she was charged and involved in a trial for her actions suggests it was not from cutting herself. its tragic she took her own life, but I wouldn't be so quick to defend her, because if it was a man, he wouldn't be getting the praise and sympathy that Caroline now gets!....abuse works both ways.

I dont normally get upset about celebrities passing but she hit me hard. Probably because she was only a year older than me and i was having the same thoughts at the same time. So it still upsets me now to think how bad i was feeling and that is how she was feeling except worse. I am doing better now but she will never get that chance and she was so lovely. Gods... I didn't expect to still be young when the first Strictly Champion died, and definitely not like this! Can't say I was an avid fan of Caroline, but of all the celebrity deaths I've lived through (this year and before), this has really hit me hard. You can just see how much of a happy, joyful, talented woman she was. Her dances were so amazing! She deserved that win! They touched me so much, it honestly hurts watching them back.
