That’s crazy that minimum wage is different for different ages.

I agree. I worked at a restaurant when I was 21 and was paid £2 more than my 18 year old colleague for doing the exact same job. It's ageism really. Young people need to be paid enough too, it's no wonder so many can't afford to move out and leave home.

when I was 17 my brother was 18, we worked the same job at the same time. sometimes we worked together in the same shift but I got £6 an hour and he got £7. we did the same job but i did the job BETTER. he was a lazy git and I got paid less.

In the UK, it is ageisum. We can't move out, rent or trying to buy a house or property is so freaking expensive it's a joke. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer.

@@AB-yg2vw you lot are dumb asf the reason it changes is because most 16-18 work a minimum wage job on the weekend or part time at some point and normally have no bills, someone who is 35 and still on minimum wage is very likely to have responsibilities on the other hand

@Kris Nicholson I was really upset, i meant all the abandoned houses why can't they make affordable apartment buildings, 1 bedroom flats on the other side????? Or knock down some of those abandoned houses or let them stay there 6mos out of the year. I've never heard of a 6mon lease I'm in u.s & here we do a year & they have to notify you like 3mos I'm advance b4 lease is up if they are going to sell or don't want to renew lease. Jeez just u can't get a job if you can't sleep u can't have a home without a job. Everyone should have a home & food if nothing else..... HUGS

I live in north Devon (Bideford) & also in supported accommodation at the moment due to drug issues I had for a number of years. Have not smoked white for months & not going back to it. I’ve lived in 4 supported accommodation places from somewhere near Bude to Ilfracombe & was sectioned for 7 months a couple of years ago in Moorland view from taking too much phett. I’ve got 3 different qualifications in computers (2 in NDC & 1 at a college in Exeter; from programming to hardware & customer support, but have mainly been self employed (in the past), fixing laptop & desktop computers, managing networks & web design as well.

It's not always straight forward as "give them a house and money". When your homeless and give money they spend it on drugs...Some say (including homeless people) only give them food, but even then if your feeding them..Every penny they get begging will ALL go onto drugs. So either way it is no help. Making more houses, issue then is they don't have jobs available or they refuse to work so can pay rents. My brother died from drugs homeless. He was offered rehab, homes free etc. He chose to live rough and take drugs. Some lose homes offered because they refuse to get help for other problems when not homeless, and they destroy properties they live in. You can't just rehouse someone who destroys peoples properties, steal and assault people etc. Because those who really need the help and want the help don't get it, because first time homeless don't get help because someone else who has had 10 free houses, rehab spots etc has taken it AGAIN! Unfortunately with councils they refuse to help until you are made homeless. Especially if your homeless because of rent arrears from a council property. No point in evicting when they will still have to rehouse them at some point once on street. Just waste of money. Offer the help before it all goes beyond repair. Major issue is homeless people TRAVELING to different area so it looks like that town has a homeless problem and those from out of town steal the help from local people. This tricks government and councils to fund areas that really don't have a homeless problem...Just "tourist homeless". Government can issue compulsory Purchase Order on the properties that have been vacant for basically decades. Do them up for the charities, instead of just building new homes that are just for those who can afford it.

A lot of employers don't like to employ someone w not a "proper address " as they probably see it as temporary and therefore unreliable I think along with assumptions . It's why it's so difficult for the homeless to get a job.

At 2:25 after the lady finished talking you can hear in the back ground, the crows... they've gathered around that woman in the cementary because they think shes wounded and dying. In a way she is, so eerie. Especially in a cemetery, so disgraceful gulping the last drop down in that lady's face... she could of waited 5 mins till when she left. Basically doing that is thumbing your nose ar all the effort that lady's goes through every day. Probably be better if the drunk would just go ahead and roll over in to the next vacant grave
