Medium skin fair tone is good not too fair or too dark. Pakistani mostly skin tone is perfect not too dark. Too dark are less in pakistan . 80 percent skin tone are actually medium white and tan skin tone they both are beautiful skin tone.

Ask us this question? We are running a marriage bureau since long time and from both the boys and girls we listen this question. Both want fair color. Some do not even satisfy on fair. They want white as milk. This had made matchmaking a very tough job. Still our marriage bureau work hard to guide people about it. Pakistan is diverse country same every ethnic groups in pakistan diverse too. If you check out kalashi they have also light brown to brown skin same if you visit gilgit there so many diversity .they have dark mangolian features tanned iranic features like hunza born MMA fighter girl anita karim have similar south indians features and pashtun born cyclist samar khan have totally caucasian iranic turkic mixed features . compared to southern pakistan eastern pakistan the northern pakistani and western pakistani have lighter skins. Even in balochistan you will find lots of blondes especially north balochistan too. and there so many light skin in lahori and muhajir too but ratio is less compared to northern and western pakistani .Pakistan is beautiful diverse country and every color is unique.

In my relatives I have witness many men who demanded a very fair lady. They didn't not accept the ordinary girl inspite of good habits and dignity. All men be like we want a wife who is too fair. Not too much fair but not dark this makes me feel that I'm not too much pretty and everyone rejects me because all men want beautiful lady. There is no value of character, dignity and humbleness etc.

@@aishasultan03 that's what I always thinks. People always humiliates you even they are getting benefits from you. You mentioned about the studies. I helped my friends even I shared my assignments which is not allowed and I have to change things. They are so selfish that they even not share the notes and guess what they ridicule me due to not being pretty and slim etc. They always talk about the standards of beauty. What to say about relatives, they praise my cousin due to her beauty and styles. My aunt came to me in the wedding and there are so many people on the table. She said you should be fair, work on it otherwise no will marry you. It's quite embarrassing for me there are too many people and I cried alot when I reached home. The same cousin which I mentioned earlier has no ethics, dignity and humbleness. She is very arrogant used to insult everyone but my aunt compare me to her that every girl should be pretty like that. Although I made the things for my relatives, work for them and meet everyone. Show humbleness and always helped them but beauty is above everything for people. I really felt what you felt in university my own friends became the cause of inferiority complex . One suggestion, do not repeat my mistake if your friend is like mine one try to stay away from her. She gives you nothing. I compromised 4 years and try to be good with them in spite of my insult. They never changed and they even don't talk to me after the completion of graduation. They immediately forget me and even not invited me on their weddings. In their company I didn't enjoy anything they are slim even underweight. So they said you will be fatty by eating this. I never go to the canteen. I used to spent my break in mosque or library or sitting idle in the garden. I wandered nowadays it's better to be alone at that time instead accompany them. At least I enjoyed the good food or some other things. So don't repeat my mistakes if she makes you inferior stay away from her. Focused on your studies and enjoy spare time.

An other hand Overseas Pakistani know very well that if someone have little bit dark color like Indians he can get benefits for higher ranks jobs like engineer doctors and managers because of their color specially in European and Gulf countries Actually Arabic and European interviewers like to Indians not Pakistanis so if someone have dark color just they conceder him as Indian and give him favors and if someone have little bit fair color they can realize that candidate belongs from Pakistan or Afghanistan so they kick 🦵 out them because of nationality and if someone have dark color so they conceder him also Indian and make their interviews Mostly Pakistani peoples also hides their nationality and try to look Indian and don’t write nationality on the cv just mention country of leaving or present location.

There is a saying "black don't crack". Darker skin color doesn't age as fast as white. Lighter skin is more sensitive to sun and people with lighter skin color get wrinkles and freckles faster

fair skin is veyr much appreciated across the globe. In western countries there is some appreciation of darker color. Gora tans and we try to lighten our skin tone. However in Asia white color is highly desirable not only in the subcontinent but also in other countries such as China and the other neighboring countries.

Which is not a good thing. All skin colours are equally beautiful. No one is better based on their skin colour. If South Asians love gora rang so much then ask those white supremacist barbarians to colonise desi countries again. Treating others different based on their skin colour is racism and colorism. Hollywood and whytes still have too much influence in the world. Many whytes still see themselves as superior. Do you see them as superior? Do you want them to colonise you? It is not since colonizer eras. Please stop blaming British for our prevalent societal problems that predate even the Brits. It is actually due to the caste system that had existed for ages. The only thing Brits did was amplify this caste mindset. That's it. We already had this issue beforehand. We can see a similar issue in the far east. The reason why fair skins are desirable is because dark skins were for lower caste, the laborers basically, and unclean, unsanitary, "dirty" people. Even though this is in a very garbage way of thinking, it is the truth.

Its mostly what the mother in laws demand for their 'deserving' sons when looking for daughter in laws. Some of them also mock girls with a dark completion. The ideal for them is a fair skinned doctor from a wealthy family. There is a Karachi born GP in Birmingham who seemed to have collected fair skinned doctor brides for her doctor sons to work in the same practice. I heard her myself making dismissive comments about darker skinned girls. Makes me sick.
