I drywalled the mansion of a guy that got rich from bre-ex... I've always wondered if he got his money out in time, or if he lost the mansion.... ..the master bedroom ceiling had dozens of angles in it, took us a couple days just to figure it out...

@gullybull5568 .. we didn't deal with the tapers at all, they got hired by the builder directly, same as us, but either way they likely got screwed over anyway, cuz of things like the spiral stairway from basement to the 3rd floor, which had layered 4'x8'x 1/4" drywall standing up, with an average of 64 screws in each 4'x8' sheet from trying to get it to form to the studs and slightly resemble the curve that was supposed to be the final result of the walls shape... combined with the airplane ceiling, the taper shoulda just moved his furniture in for a few weeks while he worked... ..he had my sympathies...

just pay the $15 bucks to be ad free. it'll save you some time each month. is that time and annoyance worth $15 to you? you can also cheat the system by signing up "from india" or another cheap location i heard.

Bre-X was a canadian company, they were prospector not a mining company. And the reason it blew up because Freeport was involved (or about to operate) in busang site, they are the actual mining company, a giant one at that that still is operating west of this forsaken 3rd world country. The nonexistent gold deposit and crazy market exist today in form of start-ups, crypto, nft and whatever comes next as greed meets opportunity

We know why Brown sold the gold… America told him to. Why? To tie us into the Dollar and US Treasury debt. And now when the majority of Central Banks are buying up the worlds reserve gold, a tier one asset according to the BIS, we should be buying as well, instead of investing in the war mongering industry.

I met someone nearly matching his description a year after, he was a bit skinny, looked older. He said that he was sure of getting away, since people failed to recognize him after his surgery, which was done at the same hospital which diagnosed his hep.

Suicide notes are fairly hard to forge, especially 5 pages long, especially if it still fools all the family and friends. The only reasonable question after no evidence of contrary is found would be who or what lead to it, same as in Boeing ex-employee whistleblower case.

The gentleman's that I worked for at the time did daily trades Bre-X was one of their investments ( not a big one ) claimed that on the TSE until it was $0.02 and $0.01 back & forth even $0.03 and just disappeared

knowing nothing out Bre-X than what was in this story i think the possible involvement of Indonesian Government/Intelligence having a role in the death isnt explored enough given the amount of interest the ruling family - and the conflict it caused within the family - had in the company
