@@chanarmagedon1561 thats why i dont really rely on uni much on purchasing. They thought they could reduce chance of lecturer scamming to gain share of commission by purposely purchasing overpriced items. However the lengthy purchase process is not only taking very long time and also causing item's price get marked up by double as well.
Personally feel Yeo Bee Yin should have a channel to share all these changes and efforts made during her times, especially the implementation in science & tech. At least from an university student perspective, we could know there is some policies beneficial uni student was encouraged by government. If she is not in this interview, the only thing I can remember under her department is only plastic waste sadly 😂

As a Singaporean I like her.... very professional n knowledgeable thus should be in the charge of relevant department with full support from the ruling government BUT unfortunately they dun give a dam. So sad. 😔
Normally I don't comment. This is the first I'm leaving - BBK is doing a good job by having such a quality conversation. This is really informative for us Malaysian to know our country further. Thank you BBK and Yeo Bee Yin for your effort in shaping a better Malaysia 👍

This is what I want! Actual policy discussions, not political smearing. Thank you for covering this!
Excellent content! A very humble and insightful minister. She is able to identify the real issues (not just blame on other government departments) and tried to find creative solutions. There's hope for Malaysia if we could have more leaders like her. Hope BBK could produce more informative videos like this.
You can really tell how entrepreneurial and resourceful she is. Most of all, one thing we can learn to ask ourselves more is - beyond systemic challenge, how do we make things happen? Thanks for the episode, BBK!
Love this video. We could see that she really knows what she's doing with her job, and tackle the root of problems we're facing by pointing out flaws and provide solutions. A person we really need to make Malaysia a better place.

Honestly right, Malaysia and our fellow Malaysians MUST be extremely honoured to have this professional talent (Yeo, an alumnus from Cambridge University's Chemical Engineering School) inducted in our journey! few seconds thoughts: look at this, her understanding on 环境,能源,R&D&C,etc is purely stronger than most of the potential politicians who would pick up the role of Energy Ministry (or we could even say, she's 2nd to none), which means we could always need her! Short talk at last, as someone who is pursuing Energy and Sustainability overseas, let's positively promote and hope that Malaysia's Green Tech (be it Low-carbon Energy, Waste Management, Environmental cooling) in the future would rise after 50 years, even though this industry has various problems (primarily, Political stability + Centrality + Talent) to solve!

In fact, some local government uni esp. UNIMAS' civil engineering also teach some environmental engineering courses such as environmental impact assessment and waste management, low energy building design, wastewater engineering, etc. Local uni graduates have the knowledge but have nowhere to apply. Hahahaha
A humble leader who doesn't claims all the credit. Wise in solving problems, but too bad those strategics was not well known in public. Hope YB Yeo can make it back to be minister.

I totally agree with you. I have a very strong feeling that YB Yeo can do far better for the sake of our country's well-being.
That’s why it’s important to have the right people at the right position. This lady knows what she’s doing and what’s the right and sustainable things.
I love this lady . she just exudes a personality that simply reflect her true self ,a down to earth smart lady that try hard to make malaysia a better place for all .

BBK, me as 40 years+ old uncle now really thanks for your channels to let us know the deeper of what each minister works. What their policies and whats their opinion, at least we learn and understand something here. Old age time, no one will bother explained this either at TV or newspaper
