Wow, this feels so different, all those smiles and goofs. I've really come to see hip-hop culture in a different light, and I must say, it's much friendlier and open than others sports I've been trough. A BBoy battle usually doesn't have that kind of hostility.. Hip-hop is so much more than what people think it is.

issei style is different i noticed, its like inverted like his six step is a windmill and his cc's are like halos and a bunch of variations inbetween. like stacks but for powermoves

its not about sets, watch the recent videos of r16 that yakbattles released, at the end they present a score, they get a score for each of the 5 elements. I think they are something like fundamentals, creativity, technique, execution and battle. When you win on more elements then your opponent you win. If its a draw (for example:2 elements won by each, one draw) then your total points will by counted, who has the most wins

I know, but a battle is formed of toprock, footwork, powermoves, freezes, stage present and style. Blond did a few toprocks, lot of powermoves, freezes, stage present and his style in powermoves. Issei did toprocks, footwork, powermoves, freezes, a few stage present and style, and this is the fact that made him win, in my opinion.

Wow, fantastic battle, to be expected I guess. I gotta say, I'm a huge fan of Blond, especially now he's representing my country, but Issei deserved to win this one. I understand why the comments seem to favour Blond, but Issei just had more intensity, more flow, and some deceptively high-level moves.

Issei won, but I just luv the way Blond dance. He can really dance. That guy use to be the leader of Extreme crew, choreograph for dance routine, taught a lot to his crew and ppl, been through a lot and was hella smooth. Plus he's getting old too. Im sad that he lost to a fresh kid.

If you're talking about power, yes Blond's were clean but Issei's were on beat, especially the last round. And to be fair, this is R16, the judging system here is different and is based on (correct me if I'm wrong) five different categories not just power.

Blonde has more advanced and cleaner power moves, but is slightly more mechanical and doesn't have as much personality and style as Issei does. Issei had style, his get up was great for dancing, and had class in his moves as he did them with speed. Blonde is a veteran and knows how to dance, but sometimes the young guns are just better.

Because Issei's sets were more rounded and complete, the OUR system worked in his favor thus giving him the win. Blond has crazy powermoves, but it was just lacking to be awarded more points than Issei. Blond's sets were relatively short as well.

Wow, Issei looked surprised as hell to learn he won, haha. Still, dope battle from both, and I could see a judge making a case for either one. When we see the scores, we'll see the story. I really liked the way Blonde was answering Issei's rounds and how he uses his height for some real extension. Issei's a little powerhouse. Peace.

Issei's sets were also all power... The difference is that Blond was hearing the music and was more into the battle. Issei was just there throwing moves... There's no point doing up rock when you don't enjoy the music

Plus the fact that Blond's power moves were cleaner (and that's what the majority of Issei's time was spent on) - look at the leg differences when they did flares.
