Notice how Sky's notes are warmer, keeping the scale that it's in, while BF's sound deliberately cold, using a mixture of a minor scale and various sharps? Sky's still trying to convince BF that she should date him, and BF is having none of her shit, talking to her cold and honest, and Sky literally FORCES him to warm up a bit by continuing to sing even in BF's turn, forcing him to use the same scale as her in order to maintain harmony.
