I'll have to admit, that BBQ really looked good. And don't worry about your salt intake in that hot humid place. When I was over there in the Navy they feed us pink salt tablets like M&M's and threatened to write you up if you didn't take 'em.

Same as in football, it was nonsense. Especially in the 50s with blood pressure issues. Salt isn't the need, it's electrolytes.

California used to be nice but now it looks like a landfill with all the debris, human excrement and homeless. We won't even mention the high crime, high taxes, high gasoline, high real estate and I never could go in that 50° ocean water, even in August. I sure remember that nice, crystal clear 70° water off Grande Island and some of the best diving ever.

It's been over three years since I had real Texas BBQ. I have a barrel smoker on my back deck so I will be smoking a bunch of ribs for my 80th Birthday party, y'all are invited. I can't find a good whole Brisket here or I would be smoking that too. That looked like some good food that you had there.

Yum Yum, all that deep-fried food. What do leprechauns love to barbecue? Short ribs! Why can't Mexicans have a barbeque? The beans keep falling through the grill. How do you know you are at a Chinese Barbeque? The hot dogs are real. I can’t decide whether to grill chicken breasts or chicken thighs. I guess I’ll just wing it. The skeleton went to a BBQ to get a spare rib. What does a good beef steak hot off the barbeque have in common with sex? They're both very rare.
