On board a South Ferry bound R62A 1 train from Van Cortlandt Park-242nd Street to South Ferry

Seen here is a ride on a 1 train operated with R62As bound for South Ferry.
Now, if you’re thinking I have done a downtown 1 train video, I haven’t. This time I decided to do a full ride on the no. 1 to South ferry, making all stops along the way. I prefer to ride this with an R62, however, there are no R62s assigned to the 1 line, there use to be R62s on the 1, but were sent back to the 3 for fuller service needed.
Also, the 181st Street station on the 1 line is closed due to elevator replacement. For service to 181st Street, customers would have to transfer at 168 Street for nearby A train service, or use the M3 bus along Amsterdam avenue.
Please note: subway service is now 22 hours, however, the subway will be closed from 2 A.M. to 4 A.M., thus only two hours of cleaning and maintaining. So if you plan on riding the subway, please remember to wear a mask as you ride the train, always wash your hands before leaving home, and in case you need to adjust your mask, wear gloves as you adjust.
