Love the day -50 combos. All jokes aside, the combos you've found give me hope that the lack of normals and specials won't stop combos from being flashy and powerful.

gamedefier That's exactly what Arc System Works is going for. They're going for the "easy to play, hard to master" types for their fighting games, unlike their past BlazBlue and Guilty Gear games where they're "hard to play, harder to master".

Hopefully this will silence the "hurr, two buttons, simple combos" narrative for a bit. Thanks for this.

aRBy125 You mean how the combo notations were almost all BBB / AAA with a hint of 2C? It'll probably be fun anyway.

aRBy125 I just realized that if you use corner loops and assists /change you can make some long combos

Its gonna fuel those people, you realize the combos in the video are extremely simple combos right? Its just using the auto combo strings.

Can't really silence much. If you played you'll see the game is hella simple.

What does 5bb mean again it's been awhile since I played blaze blue central fiction
@UnlimitedBrettWorks6 жыл бұрын
John Santos 5BB means press B twice. Both A and B have autocombos so after standing B, if you press B again you'll get a unique move.

The last combo isn't legit, the moment the hit counter turns blue he could have air teched.
@UnlimitedBrettWorks6 жыл бұрын
Terotrous yes, as mentioned in the description blue beat indicates it could have been teched. But the number indicates which hit was techable, showing that the later part of the combo is actually a true combo.
@Terotrous6 жыл бұрын
I don't think it will update that number to indicate that the combo becomes techable again at a second point, it just shows the first part where you could have teched out.
@UnlimitedBrettWorks6 жыл бұрын
Terotrous both BB and GG have done this for a while. ASW's first introduction to invalid point indicator already did it for multiple points. You're right that it is possible, but I would find it odd for bbtag to be the exception

Terotrous besides what Brett said, this is just a proof of concept video and the second to last combo's route held up pretty well. We'll get to see legit shit soon.
