I did not. Used something called Videopad. It's got a trial version with a lot of nice stuff. For these kinds of videos, its pretty good.

thanks a lot man this guide helped me out so much. I just got BBTAG and I'm surprised most of the combos still work. the blockstring section and oki were very helpful cuz there was loads of combo videos but none on pressure.

I think Ruby is a better assist for him, but Orie isn't bad at all. Her 4P will help improve his blockstrings and wakeup game.

Hey, at 7:46, why didn't Ragna get juggled from the 2B? He stayed grounded and I've never seen that before. I just tested it in training and I still got juggle state. I was thinking maybe it had something to do with the Cross Slash nerf in the recent patch, but I actually recall similarly landing a raw CH Cross Slash in a real match before the recent patch and the 2B I confirmed into afterwards resulted in a juggle. Is this still achievable in the current version of the game? If so, what circumstances cause it to work?

I'm fairly sure the Cross Slash nerf removed that route. I'll try it later and get back to you. In this particular combo, the timing on which you do the 2B would dictate whether the opponent would be airborne or still standing. The link was tight but if done properly he would still be standing like in the video. I recall the distance also being a factor.

Sorry, I meant to add that the counter hit Cross Slash frame advantage left enough time for the 2B to catch them while they are still on their feet. I just tried it now and the nerf changed that so the route isn't possible anymore. Even if you have the Cross Slash land so that they are close enough :/

@@bkbrent Damn, that sucks. I thought all he lost was CH Cross Slash routes from the front. And that's admittedly a bigger loss than this, but why did they have to take away his cool new Cross Slash routes? Giving us Cross Slash > 2B > Cross Slash is basically pointless in this game. Any proration where you can do that usually allows you to do more anyway. Or you could just do a significantly longer combo beforehand into Cross Slash > DHC. Literally the only combo I found that made any sense at all to do Cross Slash > 2B > Cross Slash did like 1k less than my optimal. lol

Yeah They should add Fatal Counters or something :V Only place that route makes sense is in specific Resonance Blaze combos.

Release as they start falling. It must look like one of the Zio hits actually flies passed them. Then hold 6 and press B immediately after the Zio is loose. This combo may be character specific btw.

I think won't be able to get 5BB off Yukiko's assists consistently unless you have a corner. Maybe you can find a way to make the firebird assist work midscreen.

Its kind if hard for someone else to answer that for you if they don't know your prior experience in Fighting Games (^_^;) I think the best advice I could give a new player is to play a real match and look at the kinds of hits you land most frequently. Then focus on learning the combo routes from those hits and end in a safejump or a setup to keep the advantage.

You gotta call the assist on the second hit of swift strike then you have to move forward and hold forward while pressing B. If you hold forward, it looks like he does a sliding B. I tend to hold forward on almost all the links in this video.

Kind of vague if you don't say what hit. But in most cases, try holding forward and timing the hit just before the opponent looks like they'll hit the ground.

Yeah she's Alright. If anything, Orie will benefit greatly from Narukami's assists.
