BC Ferries | Vancouver to Victoria |

There is something so magical about taking the ferry across from Vancouver to Victoria. The views of the Pacific Northwest are something only dreamed of, but when it happens in reality it definitely feels like love. I am heading to the Island in June (ticket booked). I am going to see a childhood friend and then I am going up Island to Campbell River to visit family and friends. Vancouver Island is my favourite place to visit. Thanks for sharing your adventure

We are thinking of doing this same drive to Victoria. Can you tell me if it is better to make reservations or can we just drive to the terminal and buy our tickets at the booth? Why was the line of cars so long on the right side at the BC Ferry terminal on the Vancouver side but short on the line you chose?

That’s great ! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. We did not make any reservations, we purchased tickets at the booth and were given a lane to wait at. I am not sure why the lane we were waiting at was shorter then other, I guess it depends on where you are going.

@@AmraBeri Hello, I am wondering if I should take a chance and show up without a reservations. Can you tell me how much you paid to go to the island and return? There will be 3 of us driving a rental car.
