THANK YOU GUYS!! This was detailed, clear to see, and simple enough for my concussed brain to process.

Really informative! I am looking into buying a set of BC's for my New Edge sn95 chassis. I really wish they made the DS series but all they have for me is the BR series. I will probably do a decent amount of Street driving, I also like to do some track events. Do you have any recommendations for spring rates. I believe stock on the BR series is 8K front 5K rear.
@HandTightRacing2 жыл бұрын
We can do DS front br rear
@HandTightRacing2 жыл бұрын
Then the rates I would recommend are 10k front and 5k rear

You should do a video rebuilding it with fluid
@HandTightRacing Жыл бұрын
We unfortunately do not do that here. Not to mention that’s way too advanced to do in a garage lol

quick question what would happen if u break the piston shaft? would there be any noise coming from the coilover? clunking noise perhaps? asking for a friend ..
@HandTightRacing Жыл бұрын
Uhhh yeah. But you typically wouldn’t be able to drive very long in a broken piston shaft.
@uHORyaTuSabe Жыл бұрын
@@HandTightRacing hmmm well i can drive perfectly fine so I don't think its the piston shaft, I keep hearing this clunking noise coming from the front bc coilovers. what do u think it could be? i switched back to my lowering sprins and the nose went away so it has to be the coilovers
@DanielGarcia-gb1mx Жыл бұрын
@@uHORyaTuSabe did you ever figure out what it was? I’m having the same issue right now

@@DanielGarcia-gb1mx sorry for the late reply didn't catch it, and no I still haven't. I've decided to replace the whole front right corner, did u ever figure it out?

Good job guys. Quick question I just got my coilovers. Bc said I have to use my stock mounts. I bought spring compressors for my stock struts which I'm going to need. I noticed every build on coilovers no one uses spring compressors. Is that because there's not much pressure on the springs?
@HandTightRacing Жыл бұрын
This is because true coilovers only use 4mm of spring preload and can be relieved by using the lock rings, or removing the upper mount!

Is the top nut m12?

It depends on specific part number. But this one specifically was an M12. What kind of vehicle to you have?
