Great sail and I think down wind boats give way to up wind ones. I'd check it out before encountering t h e situation. Also I agree with Mat about the cool large boulders being blasted out from below somehow.

Been a rail fan forever. I watch so many great layouts and learn something new every time. So noting the common love between nations, especially the North America's I enjoy trains from Mexacans, Usacans and Cananans. Then I see an outstanding Russian layout, so he becomes a Rusacan, and we all watched Wonderland in Germany or Germacan. So it is clear, model trains are just another common love shared without borders. Yep; we all can.

Magnificent. You did a lot of work to synchronize the soundtrack. Half way through, my palms were sweating as the coaches clung to the side of the cliff. Well done, ALL of it.

Beautiful scene ,many trains are passing on the station.Good view of tunnels. I have travelled from Montreal to Vancouver while passing BC in 80.

If that's the mock up is the "real" thing started yet? That was so excellent. The scale of the scenery, the low track side camera angles, and the use of recorded sounds. The paintings on the backdrops are similar to the one's in the Museum in Victoria B.C. Thanks, Ronn

Superb layout, scenery and modeling. Great soundtrack as well. One of the most realistic layouts I have seen. Hope it's still operating. This demonstrates how you can do things in HO that I could never do in O gauge. Well done all around.

it is actually still active although half the rail cars are sold. Believe it or not it is only in a 10 x 15 foot room. so i was limited for space. i did something different and went up. the layout it 8 foot tall inspired by late John Allen). the kids wanted tunnels at the time hence the tunnels. it was to be controlled by by a new concept blue rail (blue tooth control) on you cell phone.
@johnericson58397 жыл бұрын
Great looking & sound train
@marceldevlieger60977 жыл бұрын
thanks. I have actually gone back to it a little bit, this winter. with adding a few buildings, bridges , ballast etc. the layout is only 10ft x 15ft so i had to improvise and went up. it is 8ft tall. you can walk through the canyon. its a diffrent concept. the kids liked tunnels at the time thus the tunnels. it has 2 helix's to cross the 5 ft bridge. i was inspired by John allen in the 60s who did the same.

ONE OF THE BEST LAYOUTS Ihave EVER SEEN. WHAT GAUGE ??
@carmium10 жыл бұрын
You mean "what scale?" and like most layouts, it is HO. "Gauge" is the distance between the rails, and, of course, this is standard gauge.

Mine is all CNR, grain , coal and double stack containers, still packed in the boxes as we left Canada in 1985. Never set up the set, what a waste. Should donate to some one who can do something with it. Even have a CN caboose. 5 SD40-2 powered and 3 dummies. Hand decorated CN road. OY, to be young again.
