Thanks for this. I was born in Chilliwack in '44 and went to Central School, we left in '54 but been back many times. My Grandad, Bob Ramsay, was the Gov't Agriculturist for the area at this time. He worked out of an office in the Post office near five corners as I remember. Their home was on Riverside Drive on the north edge of the city. I remember Gleggs Sporting Goods. Gleggs lived two houses away on Riverside. The old wooden bridge across the Hope Slough was intact and walkable but closed to cars. The Queen visited Chilliwack, I guess right about the time of her coronation. I remember she gave a speech to all the kids from the back of one of those rail cars like a little stage. What a lot of memories.

James Bond yes. , it’s nice to go back in time for a visit, I think this footage is priceless really.

Yes, great piece of film. My grandmother curated the museum for a number of years. It was near five corners and then it moved to down under what was the library. They had one of Bill Miner's guns (on loan) there, interesting for us young people.

Pictures of Chilliwack does not bring memories back was not born at the time but it's nice to see what it look like. grandmother grandfather lived in Chilliwack at the time nice to see what the scenery look like for them
