That fight should've been stopped in the second round. That kid is way too young to be taking that many shots to the head. The ref gave him a lot of opportunity to get back in the fight, and he was just taking punches. Shit like this can effect the rest of his career. If the ref fails to do his job, then it's on the corner to protect the fighter from himself, cause clearly that kid is a beast and has a ton of heart. He would never give up. Just my opinion though.

@@apirateslifeforme77 From what I know ( not pretending to be well informed or something ), in amateur fights you wear shin guard and headgear. Probably also sparring gloves which at least they wear here. I disagree about headgear. It can be super uncomfortable and in a way engage the other person to hit you harder in the head ( thinking that it's safer ), but for sure can reduce cuts and blow force. The last one is debatable from what I understand, but it seems like some research is happening that backs it up. Either way I'm just saying that the less protection you wear the more "professional" a fight should be considered resulting in paying the athletes. Cheers :)
