That’s what I do as well, I’m like “I don’t care about the fall, just where is my bike and is it damaged? That thing was expensive”
@darkki943 жыл бұрын
As someone who was 11 y/o and fall of the bike and broke my arm ( pretty bad ! both bones, it was at 90 degree angle - 3 months with a cast and almost 2 months of recovery ) even seeing my arm bend the second I fall, I went to see if the bike had any damage , the bike was 3 days old and for the time was close to a dream bike for me and the best my parents could afford, for me the bike had more value than my arm literally !

I said this in the actual build video but I think you should name the step up berm jump thing “slash and berm” because it is right by a slash pile, it is basically a really big berm and slash and burn means being aggressive about something and doing it quick .

It's a dream to just ride my bike off a trail. But the chances of that happening is less than the chances of me 200 years old. And I'm really sad about that sometimes. But in February, a game comes out that I can pre-order for my birthday. (riders republic) This way I can still experience the feeling of my dream virtually.

Hey Eric, had a question for you and would love your response! Been a longtime fan of your channel and watched your transition from an enduro style bike to "trail" with the Druid. I am thinking of doing a similar switch from a 160/160 to a 135/150 Fugitive LT. I know this isn't the bike you ride. But my question is, have you ever wished for more rear travel the past year? Will you always be a "trail bike" rider now? Any input would be much appreciated
