Thanks! It's so easy to overlook(for me) in the rush to get everything done.

Great job on this. I've played the northern half as the Allies and this would have been very helpful before I started. All of your points and strategies are well thought out and explained.

Thanks Jeff. I've also played by just throwing myself into it, seat of the pants style. But it's nice to take a step back and see how all the bits relate to each other and how we could do much better.

Once again a well prepared and useful examination of a BCS topic. In this case defense. I think you have presented the key features necessary for understanding how to conduct a successful BCS defense.

Thanks Lynn, coming from your expertise that means a lot.

Your videos are terrific, with this one even better. Superb analysis on LB defense, thank you. A minor point… No mention of the possibility to use Air Power as additional “Independent Artillery?” Thanks again, great stuff here!

Glad you're getting a lot of of it, Eric. You're right, I didn't mention the extra impact of air points to create local concentrations of destruction and suppression barrages. For Last Blitzkrieg, their are three reasons for that. 1. Often the weather is poor, especially in the early game. 2. Air points does not benefit from the ability to through twice on the barrage table. That's a bonus for US artillery only. Air points would roll only one dice. 3. Air points probably has a more important mission dropping air supply for formations without a legal combat train to keep them activating. Still, it's an important point, thanks for bringing up.

Great break down of BCS defence! I’m getting a mauling in Baptism by Fire and I hope that your guide might help, but I’m not holding my breath! 🤣 Are you planning any more BCS videos? They are all amazingly informative and a great addition to what is a wonderful game! Thanks and keep it up!

Hi Rob. Thanks a lot for the feedback. It's really nice to know that the work hits home. Of course, wise defensive generalship can never beat poor dice 😉 I'm working on a reveiw of Valley of Tears, which I played the Sinai front over six-days face-to-face last week. Having great fun. Not sure when it will be out. I have quite a lot of projects on the go at the moment!

@@RvTWargames Your review of VoT might well be perfectly timed. The gentleman I'm learning BbF with is looking very closely at VoT (or BC) for his next purchase, so your review might just tip the scales... As for myself, I think my next purchase will be LB or PLS.

Personally I rate BC as the finest BCS game, though PLS is a brilliant two-in-one game. BbF is the best introduction. But VoT and LB have true majesty as large-scale games.

Arracourt is probably a miss, the it mainly suffers in comparison to a parade of greats!
