@@si1995gtnupe1997 Chances are the section leader implemented this cadence into their repertoire. Unlike DCI most not all HBCU sections at large compose their repertoire.....I know that HBCU instructors do have input, Past instructors at Morris Brown composed several compositions. Famu's original repertoire was composed by the current instructor, Newer material implemented by students.

hyperdriven08: Actually, this was a joint composition with the percussion instructor. Aside from the legacy cadences (old-old, and I know you know them all, as you’re on a lot of the comments), they are mostly written by the instructor, some are written by the students. You’d be surprised at how much is actually written by our instructor - even down to the drill music.

@@si1995gtnupe1997 Thanks for that info.....Since it seems that you are a alumnus of BCU you would know. No I don't know all of the "Legacy" material....Just the Material that came from Morris Brown. Speaking of Old,Old material are you familiar with pre Sudden Impact material?
