Yes its a lot to take in. I think I'll take it a stage at a time, starting with New/Full moon cycles then go onto Descending/ Ascending cycle. Can't think beyond that at the moment!

The moons full gravitational power and thus it's pull on the water is present no matter how much of the moons surface is illuminated / what phase it's in. The only way this is not true is if the sun somehow modulates the moons gravitation effect. You talk about water, but what if it rains? How does that effect your experiment? I'm sorry to say I'm skeptical about BDG. What I can suggest to speed growth is to harness the ether by putting in a cane next to a plant wrapped with copper wire in a clockwise direction all the way up. You could experiment with the number of windings. It does work and supercharges the plant.
