I really like the way you communicate the various notes and overall feel of the fragrance in a way I can relate to and understand. Gives me a much better idea than many of the reviewers out there. This review was super helpful! Mentioning that sandalwood is the primary note, and that this leans masculine helped me decide I don't need it in my wardrobe. I think lots of people will like knowing that it shares vibes with Tom Ford and Initio scents as well.

Good pick! I purchased the full bottle early summer, only wore it on cool/rainy days. I think this is going to be a great one for the fall and early spring. My husband has been wearing it lately too and it smells amazing on him as well!

Smelled Gris Charnel at ZGO in San Francisco yesterday...absolutely amazing! BIGGEST MISTAKE I MADE WAS NOT BUY IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE.....ordering online and should have just got it there. I was hesitant that it would not perform but on my skin (hand) smell it next day after a shower. Sophisticated scent for sure.

I get the vibe of CABAN YSL in the dry down.. It must be the Sandlewood and Tonka. Caban doesnt have the iris note and it is more loud. Pretty, similar. I dont need both 😊

I agree BDK is overhyped. Gris Charnel was my favorite and I don't even like it much. I only tried the blue bottled scents from a dabber but I liked those a lot.

Ah that’s one thing I’ll address in another video. I think it’s more of a fragcomm thing you don’t see the perfume houses talk performance and im more about the scents and usage rather than if it is beastly or lasts 10 hours.

I have now tried 4 from BDK and Gris charnel by far is what I liked the most. I got a full bottle of Gris Charnel. Didn’t care for any of the other scents. It’s beautiful ❤️

Great video. I have been very skeptical about the hype around this house. Glad to see i was right. This is the one i thought i would like, but thought it was a fig fragrance. I think this house is a pass for me.
