Any single time you saw a streamer talk about equalized pvp they would moan about it saying it would ruin the game, that they "earned their gear." Hilarious seeing them die often and beating them in equalized gear only to hear them complain about their team, their class make up, the map...anything but themselves.

@@Dappers6110 which is another great point. If you are geared you get to experience pvp outside of equalized gear settings which lets you get better at the class in general. So a lot of people who aren't geared were queuing up to actually learn pvp. So these top 100 being already geared makes sense since they have experience.

Some people who have been ahead in the gear curve when it cant carry them they find out maybe they werent actually great at their chosen class. There was a lot of qqing in some streams about it and blaming it on their team, when in fact they never consider maybe they need to adjust to the gear and classes at that gear level.

Had a blast playing PvP for the first time seriously in BDO with the AoS. I am normally super into PvP in other games I have always just been under the assumption unless I had 750gs it wasn't worth trying. Learned a lot and had a ton of fun, but I will still never understand how these guys let the toxicity creep in so much. It's a team based arena, sometimes you get carried and sometimes you have bad teammates - but when you start trying to blame stuff instead of trying to improve you're really just hurting yourself. Are you running Remastered mode for pvp? You know that in this game more fps=more damage, at least thats how still worked last I played. Always play pvp in optimisation or at least not,.never in remaster graphics! More fps, more dmg ticks, its how the game was coded, I dont think it changed...

I usually play on remastered since I'm recording. Sometimes I'll lower the graphics, but I usually try to keep it high just so the recordings look crisp 😏

This doesnt matter for some classes in particular a lot of the newer ones Guardian is one of these classes. In addition, GPUs and CPUs are much better you can sit above 120 or 144 in AoS with 6 people of course classes like warrior and some others love being at 250+ fps so they can get their moves out faster It isnt like siege or node war but now some people use remastered in node wars. TLDR: it is class dependent and hardware is a lot a better.

@@WSPBane sure, but I wouldnt call hardware that much better these days. I am still running the same cpu (1700X), but also a higher resolution (4K) display so not even the gpu upgrade makes much of a difference for me 😆 If I would be serious for pvp, I would still recommend turning off remaster for anyone. Optimisation mode for specific classes yeah, but you never know. As long as you can still see stuff clearly, I never liked shitty looking opt. mode anyway. Maybe use remaster only for grinding and stuff, but why would you if it lowers your dps and gold/h (depending on grindspot)? , I also never liked much all that overexposition and bloom in the remaster. Mainly just for admiring characters in the shop and posing, but in a lot of places it was failed and too bright.
