i never understood how you can see the skills hitting in game with pvp lol. i played a lot during the release of 2018 but didnt reach high level enough to experience this kind of pvp, makes me want to download the game and try it again, but at the current moment on your honest opinion cant a newbie catch up?

It's hard work to catch up, but definitely worth. PvP on this game is really enjoyable. PA did a lot of stuff lately to allow new-commer or come-backer to catch up gear-wise RELATIVELY easily. Also content like Solare and NW are capped, so easy to access. Still a few hundred hours to gear up, and an other few hundreds to learn the game. Good luck and have fun !

i have no guide and it must not be a combo, you have to read and adapt. For that, practice is key. Do not hesitate to try crazy things in RBF or others forms of pvp with fast respawn and low stakes. Most of the time you die, but you always learn. The key is also to know when not to move. Verdure is an excellent skill that you can linger, but earth shatter and luth are also some stam regen. Those 3 skills are also great responses to grabs, that you must learn to preshot. If you counter a grab with an , the fight goes on with you having less stam. If you counter a grab with a CC, you take a big advantage. Ignore resi is an important stat in that regard. Expect to be killed a lot, but you learn more when you lose, and archer is very satisfying when you win. Hope it helps, good luck !
