Thank you, this boss one-shot me several times during the main questline and now in Blitz and I had no idea why until I watched this video. What a random mechanic, "leave the circle 3x and you get one-shot" - Archer cries.

I'm glad that I could help :D I can agree with you - it's definitly weird.. maybe you can abuse it a little bit. Since you can leave the area 2 times, try to step out for a short time and go back in. I don't know too much about archer but maybe a skill throws you out of the circle :D The boss would receive a DP debuff. Personally I tried to hug the boss and focused on back attacks.

@@CriticalPerformance Archer, especially since the two reworks, is fully set on keeping distance from opponents. He barely has any close range skills and the ones that he has are mostly useless. Many of his skills also move the character slightly backwards, so when you combo the boss you move further and further away from him, which makes "leave the area 2 times" very dangerous :D. I was able to kill him in C-1, but no chance with C-2, his damage is way too high. I have finished the 8 main questlines but I am working on finishing the rest now to get more orbs, otherwise this is impossible to do.

Yeah you should get all white orbs ASAP. You get 3 from the main story and 2 from side quests from black spirit when you finish the story :) I've done 5 bosses on calamity 4 with 3 orbs and it was fine for me. I guess you should be okay when you aquired all the white orbs from the main story aswell :)

I keep getting instakilled even though im playing C3. When he has like 10% hp left he just kills me. A huge AOE shows but even if I stand outside of it or in the safe "pizza slice" it will still kill me. I dont get it.

You should complete the story to receive an additional white orb at the end. Simply right-click on it, and you'll gain an extra point to spend on boosting your attack and defense. After that, you'll come across some side quests from the black spirit. These 2 Quests are Clearing a Calamity 3 and clearing a Calamity 5 Boss. Each quest rewards you with another white orb, granting you additional power. With these orbs, clearing stages up to level C5 will become much easier. I suggest taking on the Bamboo Legion boss for your first C3/C5 clear, as it's an easier boss compared to the others. Important note: To utilize your orbs effectively, access the Black Shrine Menu and go to "Manage Aura." There, invest your orbs in the same color as the bosses themselves. This way, you'll maximize your attack/defense for the boss you want to clear

you said he gains a oneshow mechanic at c6 and higher. which abilities oneshots?

After 3 minutes he will jump towards his spawn point and he will gain a golden / yellow shield and he deals some damage while it is active. If you fail to break this shield, he will one shot you. I will upload a C6 recording this week (probably wednesday) to show you that mechanic :)

Is this a harder boss? Seems really simple, but it's like impossible to avoid damage.

It kind of is. His mechanic isn't too hard to learn but his attacks are the challenge. Every basic attack has a knockdown effect which can be frustrating. Most attacks are blockable, or able but you run out of options quite fast. Sometimes walking away from him or stepping to the side helps already. In my opinion he is hard, yes but not as challenging as Gumiho for example since he has mechanics you have to know otherwise you wouldn't be able to kill the boss :D so I'd give him a 6.5/10 in difficulty especially at higher stages.

I thought you did Calamity 7 but it is 4. Anyway, nice guide. I finish Calamity 5 after second attempt. Anyway, get your back attack necklace at Trent from NPC in front of storage Keeper and use Giant draught for special attack damage Good luck

Yep it's only 4. I'm about to record calamity 6 today. I'm thinking about using the Kaia Neck. I haven't tested it yet because I would loose quite a good amount of AP :D I will definitly try it out tho! The giant draughts are used in the next videos that are coming :) Thank you for the advice and the nice words !

This is a dumb boss fight. Its doesn't benefit long range classes at all.
