What mastery level are you in gathering that you get such high procs?

in this video im at 2k+ mastery , thats why i get more quantity , so mastery does effect the minigames in that way

idk how the minigame makes gathering more profitable for you. for me i lose 10s of millions worth of mats in a gathering session if i use it. it does speed up the energy dump though.

The problem in today's time is that people have less and less time, so it's great that the gathering process is now a bit faster. It's also good that there's now a chance to get a 10x proc on rare items like golden chests, caphras, sharps, hards, etc. If you're a bit lucky, the profit can be really good in a relatively short time. Especially considering they recently raised the prices for selling some raw materials. Even though I hardly ever sell the resources I gather in their raw form :-) I can understand your point, for people who have a few hours in the evening or in general, this can also seem more negative than positive if they're unlucky with the procs.

@@CriticalPerformance yea you can hit some jackpot gathers like 20 sharps or hards. also the minigame gives a chance for the millennial ginseng (which i have gotten 1 of). maybe over a long enough period of time the minigame is superior, but in day to day moment to moment gathering it's a loss. i use it anyway for the reasons you said, the time saving is nice.
