I recognise lots of people already know this, but for newer players, Anfield mentions the attack buff from a few auto-attacks (~9:21). You can combine Cold Blade and then two Auto Attacks to get the accuracy buff and then the ap buff, as the hit from Cold Blade counts as the first auto attack. If you get into a habit of doing this, it's just as fast as three autos, and you always get the extra accuracy :)

Hi mate, i wondering that almost all awake skills have down attack damage. What do you think about adding down hit damage as a addon with crit and back ofc. Would you suggest that, Would it be effective?

With the update to tier 3 addons you can put it on a skill of your choice but even before if you knew you would grind somewhere with down attack you would have ofc used down attack addons

Hey, question for you. I am totally new to the game and just got to level 56, I was wondering if I choose awa how much of the time in combat would I use pre-awa skills? Should I Maybe go with succ first to get a good grasp of all the other skills first before going awa? Thanks @antfieldw

There's really only two skills you will use I think I talk about in this video, but if you PvP you will use much more. I don't recommend succ to play awakening.

The chest is Lemoria, but its been dyed. You can get it as a pearl costume from the kama questline I believe. I think the gloves and boots are also Lemoria, but I'm not sure about the headpiece though.

Succession is a lot easier but awakening is more flexible and the early you start learning the better.

Combos in the video Can it be cycled continuously? Is the skill cooldown in time?

No I did explain this in the video, in fact ranger has had cd lowered in the big pve buffs everyone got but STILL has no looping combo, ranger animations are simply cancelled too fast to have a looping combo. This makes it harder to get used to playing, you can use a lot of waltz of wind to help you manage waiting for CDs while you learn to flow the attacks in changing order as skills become available

The only one that matters in pve is squall shot. For pve core doesn't matter but you can take the pvp core waltz of wind. You should be able to max both skill trees you'll just need to lock a few things in the pre awakening kit too, but only squall shot and binding arrow (Magnus ability) are useful in bow mostly outside of rare occasions

Usually you'd go with 290s but with a kama damage set and nice crystals with darkness over corrupted you should be able to pump.

Ranged mate, anything ranger does ability wise is a ranged dmg type even in awakening

You should only need half for the other spots, I cover SE and Sycraia at the end of the vid. It's hard to explain what to do exactly because you're mixing skills based on what's available as you go due to kill speed differences

@@GEEOttv that'll do it, spacebar can activate shotgun (extreme charging wind) after skills like breezy blade (lmb), rushing wind (rmb) or waltz of wind (s+f) and you can activate an umbrella bow attack after vine knot (f) with space. There is no reason to press it if you intend on staying in awakening stance

@@mattphillips6594 well first off DR is always logical for pve as it's superior for all end game pve. But if you are an end game awk ranger in PvP you need defensive gear, if Eva things like centaur belts for example. So regardless of your choice you will have some defensive Accessories and not all ap/acc like succ ranger would. Of course in pve you don't need any defensive Accessories equipped

Aside from hp recovery elixirs it's just elven rage as primary recovery or you can add cold blade

I like this class, but I don't know the best place for it. in orcs with 308 ap, another player with a tutor with 286 makes more garbage than me, I make somewhere around 24k and he makes 29k casual... I don't understand why there is such a big difference in dmg between the class, it makes it seems that the difference is attack poweder useless.

It's not the damage it's how the kit is sorted, grind gyfin or anything tanky with less AOE requirements

Yes, crystals and add-ons are no longer accurate but I have updated add-ons in another video. Skills also had cool down reductions but it doesn't change the fundamentals

That's what succession's addition did for the class. To play devil's advocate the actual word ranger is a reference to distance of travel "ranging" not distance of attack, and the game does have Archer so. I miss when she was more hybrid, but pvp is at least more bow involved
