I'm sorry for your effort being deleted just because of bad RNG. I have some mixed feeling about the game lately, more and more honestly, and do want to comment on some of the topics you brought up, hence compile the timestamps for the topics for easy reference. And I probably write a separate comments for what I want to share.

Yeah made all those sharps some days I'd get unlucky and tap 2 sharps in 5h of tapping non stop its a tragic system.

I feel this, only I saw through the illusion from the beginning. If you're not PvPing, BDO is a grinding, fishing and dressup/waifu simulator. If you play it like that it's a lot less stressful. However, some criticisms to add about the game: -Combat is fluid, but movement is clunky and really showing its age. It's only tolerable because we autopath 90% of the time. -Massive item bloat, everyone knows this by now, except they've done nothing to address it. -System bloat, too many trivial systems all over the place many of which nobody uses anymore, that just confuses new players. -Too much FOMO and over-monetization, I know they've gotten more "generous" in recent years, however I have never seen a game that managed to monetize every single aspect of your experience quite like BDO. I never found it worthwhile to be competitive in this game because unless you have zero ambitions in life, spending thousands of hours trying to compete with a whale who spends $10K to hardcap gear is too much time to lose on a video game. Even despite these flaws, something about BDO still appeals to me and I guess that's why it's still thriving...Until a real competitor comes along.

Yeah you bring up good points.I wish I could of had it in the video, but with a video this long you tend to forget things unfortunately. Yeah I saw through the illusion kind of early on myself I just was hoping something would change. I wasn't really expecting them to use the same formula for years of prioritizing monetization first (new class, new outfit, new season pass, buy 1 get 1 free) and actual content last "LOTML" LOTML launched a buggy mess despite KR getting it 3 months prior to NA giving them 3 months to fix issues. They hyped that region up for 5+ years and when it comes out the only thing to do is weekly content. Kind of kills the hype. And then to top it off its only part of the region. ppl still need to wait for part 2 which is probably the cool stuff let's be honest. The only part about bdo that appealed to me was not wanting to quit something I put 6 years of my life into. It was a hard pill to swallow, to give up something you put so much effort into. I could continue playing being bored everyday just hoping someday something will change, but I feel like I've done that enough. Despite all of this, I still think if PA changed a lot of things, they could have been one of the best games if they copied other successful games. Such as adding roles to classes (tank,healer,dps) and actual dungeons with gear and loot on every boss. This is just 2 examples, my point is there's a amazing formula for them to copy and they rather just have ppl run around packs of mobs for 1000s of hours instead. To me that's weird. I get they wanna do their own thing but man, at least try and make it enjoyable for your players.

As you said when they add something new the old one becomes useless. I was sure when they were talking about Magnus fast travel they'd revamp compass. Like reduce the cooldown or make it worth grinding. But nothing changed. I felt stupid for owning one. Eventhough I had it relatively easier than other grinders.

Hour 48253. Still love the game. I've tuned out popping to the point where I don't even notice it anymore. I don't use Twitch. yeah, quests aren't that great, but I don't quest much.

I put this video on intending to click off if I didn't agree. I watched through it all without even realizing it. I'm still enjoying it, and I take breaks including the afk which is helping me keep it fresh for me. Hands down, this put it very well tho o7

Yeah hear way too many ppl are on the edge of quitting so they just afk lifeskill which imo isn't really playing. Games are supposed to be fun and enjoyable the second it stops being fun ppl should quit.

Hard agree the alchemy stone system is completely dog im fine with it being really expensive to tap/make but its the TIME sitting there clicking stones is mind numbing for weeks/months

Yeah it's too much and should have been reworked already. I mean with infinite silver you could make pen fg in 1 day if you spent all day cronning. You won't even get a resp stone in a full day of clicking alchstones let alone splendid or shiny.

If I were to go play another MMO right after quitting, I would probably tryout GW2, FF14, or go back to ESO. I am keeping my eyes open though for that Riot MMO. But I also have 6 years worth of games in my steam library I haven't touched so I'll probably stick with single player games for a bit before I touch another MMO I still have Elden Ring, Sekiro, Skyrim, The Witcher 3, Baldurs Gate 3, Bioshock 2-3, and so on to play. I'm going to try and prioritize "fun" moving forward.

i dont really share any of your problems with the game. I dont even know what pop in is so clearly it doesnt botther me. Twitch drops are a open stream before work and forget about it. Questing is not the actual gameplay so its whatever. PvP is shit so updates that push pvpers out of the game are amazing. Imperial auction is like a meme complaint. Elvia was not a bad update cause the reused lower grind spots were little questing spots no one ever grinded so now they actually could grind them. updates being 3 months behind korea is a non issue. Pen fallen god is not actually a item to go for. Goodbye i guess

Pop in is when you're walking/running around, and all of a sudden, a tree appears 40 feet away from you when it wasn't there before. The games filled with it, it's not seemless. Congrats on the Twitch drops. You do what everyone else does and doesn't actually watch it. Which is a bad thing, and it is exactly what I was complaining about. boosting their twitch numbers without anyone really being a viewer, aka viewbot. Questing was an example of how much shit they put in the game for the sole purpose of wasting the players' time, nothing more. You said you share none of my problems, yet you said pvp is shit in this game, which I agree with. It is shit. It's one of the reasons you have pvpers leaving a game that was advertised to us as a pvp game. Imperial auction isn't a meme complaint, I had 1T silver over a year ago with maxed gear. So I have nothing to use it on. Then the auction comes back, and they release a Microsoft painting. Meanwhile, back when I was starting out and had no money, ppl got black Pegasus and actual cool things. Elvia isn't good in my eyes because instead of coming out with actual new things for the game, it's reusing old ones. What I think they should have done is some spots get elvia, but the main focus should be new areas. In reality, what's happening is we got more elvia spots coming out than actual new zones. As someone who has grinded each erea for 1000s of hours, the last thing I wanna do is go back to old spots. I want new shit. Being 3 months behind kr is a massive issue. Mostly, everyone agrees with this. I think you're in a very small bubble of people who agree it's a non-issue. If pen fallengod is an item to not go for, then what will BDO do in 5 years from now? Will they come out with a new set of armor when almost nobody has pen fg? Seems kinda weird for future planning. Ahh, yes, let's come out with new gear, so ppl will spend money on costumes again. But 99.99% of ppl still don't have pen fg. You should understand that everyone wants the best of the best. So that's a shit choice by the devs to make something unreachable for 99.99% of players. If it was a cosmetic, sure, that's OK, but it's literally gear. That's beyond dumb. Goodbye 👋 thanks for commenting.

BDO is not what it used to be man, now is boring and more family friendly, damage is off the charts you die standing up just cuz Joe P2W has 100 more gs than you, there is no mechanic in one shotting another players and that is not fun, even with same gear, so what you go eva? that is boring and sound like you are afraid of pvp, DR doesn't even work how it should, and even then there is to much acuraccy in-game so fuck eva i guess. They keep release busted classes that they need to nerf to the ground example #1 Maegu. All this is from a player that invested over 30-35k hours in console bdo and pc as well, yes i did a restart into the game to move to pc, just cuz i like it so much not anymore thou. BDO suck nowdays, and now you can equipped even faster premium outfits go for 1.6B a couple of those you can have pen gear instantly. BDO is so baldy optimize it doesn't keep up with the new tech that's coming out, a lot of the stuff bdo is built in is very outdated, desync, frame stutters, ingame lag, i hate having to use exit lag, just to compete with that one guy camping next to na bdo servers.

Nah I did 35k quests I just was saying the only reason 100k is there is to waste players time nothing more. And as for the pvp I would have pvped if it earned me money. The fact that pvp is a net loss doesn't help you gear up and should be reworked to actually help players gear up so they can do what they really want to do.

@@MikeyMutz OKOK my fault then 100k crazy 💀💀but ya I always saw it as a similar issue like AoS. If ranked AoS was always up let alone AoS being a perma ingame feature in itself we could count on tanking multiple markets, over time pretty substantially just in hindsight. The population of the game simply can't afford the pvp, let alone pay us for it
