I am min maxed in both Lifeskill and Combat after playing the game since it came out. People ask me all the time how do I get rich? How do I get money? How do I progress in the game? Well my response is the same. Just pick something that you like to do and stick to it. Don't bother looking up guides the most profitable lifeskilling blah blah blah, best grind spot blah blah. What you need to know is just because its best doesn't mean its consistent. You must realize that you will be doing what you signed up for during a long period of time. So pick something you love. If you love horses, go do horse training. Does horse training make the most money in the most efficient manner? No. Does it make you poorer than other people? No. If you actually love what you are doing, you don't stop doing it. Its better to do horse training for a year than to grind the best grinding spot a KZbinr said for a week, and stop because you are bored. If you are a fan of cooking, goto the Marketplace, look at what's in high demand, boom start cooking. If you are more a garderner, the outdoor person and you love cutting down trees or farming, go on ahead. And obviously if you love killing, then kill more. Personally since Bartering came out, I've been mainly doing AFK Horse Training and Bartering. Bartering is by far my most favourite content in the game. I love the sea and the ocean. Probably less income than whatever you call that place, Star's End, or whatever that Bloodwolf, end game grind spot is. But I don't think I'd be able to grind that spot everyday from since Bartering came out to right now. However I am able to Barter for that long and I am doing it right now. The key isn't to find the fastest way, the best way, the key is to find what you want to do. People ask you oh what's the best class? Should I go this? A KZbinr recommended me this is the strongest class, S++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ tier class. Best of the best. Well, you sure you want to pick that class? I mean you'd be playing that class for quite a long time mate. You sure you actually like the class or only the power? I mean if you really liked the power that much you might as well just pick the class you like and dump a couple thousand dollars into pearls and whale it right? Power! You got it! Hopefully the game is fun for you now. You know how people spend lots of money on a game to speed up their progression? You spent money to buy a game, why would you spend money to reduce the time taken to finish the game. You finish the game fast so then you either leave or get bored? Right. I mean you spent money to reduce the effectiveness of your previously spent money. That makes a load of sense. You see, I've got about 1800 billion silver liquidated in the warehouse right now. Guess how much money I've ever spent on this game? Well I've spent money to purchase the game, I've also spent money on the necessities, like Slots and Weight, as you can't get those from the marketplace. Do I spend money on Value Packs? I will guarantee you, no matter what lifeskill or grinding method you choose, you will be able to purchase a 30 day value pack in 30 days of playing. If you love fishing so much, you choose to afk fish and do active deep sea fishing, good for you. Value Pack checked, its basically free. If you love your class so much you want to play the game so damn much, you would have enough to get an outfit automatically, no pressure. No stress. Don't know what you are talking about. So Justin, how do I progress my character? Well, everything you do is progress, so that question is to be honest not the most specific question. You catch one fish, you made progress, you killed a sheep you got progress, you picked up a herb or cut a log you got progress, you killed one mob, boom progress. I think what you are trying to ask is what's the best or the fastest way to progress my character. Oh well I got you right there, get your mom's credit card, boom all done. Game's fun full PEN right now, lets go! Good use of money and time. The whole point of playing an MMORPG is to immerse yourself in the lore, story and world of the game. If you don't like the world, you think its boring, why play? You see spending money and getting that PEN gear doesn't make the game more fun. Specifically it makes you stronger which allows you to grind more efficiently if you are actually grinding. The gameplay doesn't change much. PEN or DUO, still grinding. What's the difference, monsters stay the same. Money doesn't solve your mental issues. There are more people reading the post that have mental issues than those that have financial issues. Now seriously if you've got financial issues, go get a job. Its BDO in real life, just pick a job role, boom get started, you picked web developer, better start web developing. Don't know how to do it? Google will help you with that. Still can't do it. Try harder. Make a website, show up to a job interview, introduce yourself, they ask about your experience, boom there's my custom website. Now if you've got mental issues, figure it out, is it because of BDO, or is it because of something else. Don't know? Get help, see a psychologist. Better get it resolved fast, going to be pretty hard to get money in both life and BDO with mental issues.

@@AgentRuss heyo another question, i gathered a lot of random things over time playing bdo with nodes, for example, Trace of hunting, I thought about using these materials to make some money and level Cooking/alchemy but the only thing you can do with trace of hunting is "golden hand elixir" the elixir is worth 44k in the market and the trace is worth 12.5k you need 3 traces for the elixir and also other stuff, so making it seems not worth it? But why is trace of hunting so expensive even tho the product is quite cheap and the trace is even sold out? should I sell the trace or what do you do with materials like this?
