RLCS 2022-23 is the twelfth season of the Rocket League Championship Series. This season is a follow-up from the inaugural annual circuit with region expansions and international majors that occured in RLCS 2021-22. 3 splits - Fall, Winter, Spring - each have 3 regional events leading into an international major. Within all these events, each team collects points that determine whether they will qualify for the World Championship or World Championship Wildcard.
The RLCS 2022-23 World Championship is taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany at PSD Bank Dome.

If Ferra doesn’t get the crowd in Boston to back Vit in the spring major finals while they needed to get a bracket reset, this unstoppable Worlds run maybe doesn’t happen. You can tell in the spring major and from the first goal on in this series, M0nkeyM00n was absolutely psyched out by Vit, he got tilted both runs so bad. Vit is just so OP, what a fun run to watch between spring and worlds, just wow. Era of Zen for sure

I love this sport for multiple reasons. However, one reason that makes this sport truly special, is the same that makes all of the greatest sports great. Those who win are those who truly deserved the victory without a shadow of a doubt. Those who train while others sleep, never falter regardless of the pressure, and those who that take the bar and force it higher and continue the growth of the sport. This…… This is ROCKET LEAGUE. Not to take anything away from Vit, but BDS were playing like my plat lobbies. Bad rotations, just hoofing the ball forward with nobody ahead to aim at, etc. Disappointing finale but congrats to Vit and especially Zen for an amazing achievement.

It's called hyperbole, a literary device used to illustrate a point. Don't get so caught up on particular ranks. Clearly it doesn't take a genius level player to see the gulf between the two teams' performance, or how BDS looked so much more disjointed here than in their earlier series.
