She performed that like she was on a full stage not a TV studio... LOL. Amazing. Years go by and I have to seek out my lovelies again.

I saw this musical as a high school junior back in 2001. I have been in love with it ever since. It is where my obsession with Adam Pascal started (I didn’t see him in Rent until the movie). Even now, 19 years later, it is still my all time favorite musical. Everyone is hype about Hamilton, but the power of Heather Headley’s voice will always floor me. They need to make this a movie and have Heather back. Or she just needs to release more music. She is a true queen 😍

So this was one of the plays me and my mom would sing in the car to and from middle school as its her favorite play which isn’t hard to see why. I at the tme loved rent a little more. WELL we were in the cty and me her and my dad decided to go to a random 25 dollar broadway show called disaster on broadway, a parody jukebox musical based off 80s disaster movies. Well, the main male lead gets on stage and starts to sing and me and my mom gasp. Because without us knowing it, we had picked a random show whos main male lead was god damn ADAM PASCAL. Was insane

Yup. They definitely deserved that standing ovation. Heather Headley, especially. No questions asked!

@Jess Caley I wish I could say, but it's been awhile and due to Covid, who knows. The good thing is that it was pre-planned, so hopefully it will happen in a couple of years. Figures crossed!!

I blame Adam Pascal and the other actress for the show’s failure lol

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the music from the play AIDA....and my greatest pleasure came from watching my husband in a local theatre performance cast in the Father/Nubian King's role.

When I die, I want my family to use all my savings to pay for Heather Headley to sing an Aida song at my funeral. And yes, she will still be alive because with a voice like that, I’m pretty sure she’s immortal.

Schele Williams is the actress and she was Heather's understudy. I saw her as Aida. She's actually going to be directing the revival ! :)

The beginning, does she look alike to the actors that kidnap a old man and tied him up. When he tried to escape, she broked his leg with big hammer head. I forgot the name of the movie.
