Janela taking that move on an upside down open chair may be the craziest risk I’ve seen.

That was a Spiral Tap. But also, yes. Big boy doing it means there's no reason AJ can't do it. Other than being old. And maybe his body doesn't work as well as it used to. And maybe he's not as flexible. Otherwise, no reason! :P

It's sad seeing some of these guys destroying their bodies in front of not nearly enough people for it to be worth it
@popculturewatch86892 жыл бұрын
I don't know why this is a constant comment. These are performers. They don't dictate their performance based on the turn out. And there is never a real good reason to risk your body or death.
@mr.kachow61512 жыл бұрын
@@popculturewatch8689 I don't know, when Edge and Mick Foley went through a flaming table at WrestleMania, that made a moment. Some guys putting each other through furniture after a 20 foot drop to a crowd of maybe 30 people can be just uncomfortable to watch.
@popculturewatch86892 жыл бұрын
@@mr.kachow6151 if every performer thought like you, watching art would be really fucking lazy. And boring. I'm glad there are people out there that don't let where they work dictate their effort. Edge vs Foley had great storytelling. That's what elevated. Not where it was. The 100 or so throw every at the wall ladder matches and the like are no better or more logical because they are performed in front of large crowds. More people see them. That's great. Not everyone can reach that height or can right away. People pay dues. They get noticed.
@mr.kachow61512 жыл бұрын
@@popculturewatch8689 Fair enough, I'm not gonna argue that people need to start somewhere, I just find it uncomfortable to watch people genuinely hurting themselves and not getting the reaction they perhaps deserve.

3:48 the fatter, heavier dudes on the independents who are too big to take anything and therefore look like bruisers are the worst. Their egos are usually unjustifiably inflated especially listening to them describe how they think a fight would go or what they should/would do. These athletes put their lives on the line cause recruiters from WWE and Impact and AEW scout talent and they'll never know when they will be there so of course they will go balls to the wall
