As a student who had just started learning about DS and ML, I did start to apply for internships in internshala(please recommend any better place if possible) and got some tasks from various companies who asked to solve some assignments within 2-3 days time-frame which was really demoralising for me and made me stop applying for more since it made me think that I need more practical experience and knowledge. But now I have realised the vast field of this subject and proper ways to study and work upon them.

Many companies mention all about data entry jobs under the name Data Scientist job profile. I mean this is really a serious issue prevailing in this domain!!

You touched a very good topic. This is truly an amazing video. Krish, I would request you to spread this as much as possible so that insane hiring recruiters should know what and how much energy it takes to cover and learn all the topics mentioned in job description. I awalys reply to recruiters if separate technical recruiters are there for each domain and technology how can you expect these many things from one person. Take podcast on such issue as well, let the organisations know bitter truth.

Last month I attend an interview of 4 rounds I cleared first 3 rounds and they very much satisfied abt my performance too.. but in final round a person interviewed me and he is asking abt different technologies in bigdata even though I clearly mentioned in resume, what are the technologies I'm familiar with ..And he blames me.. later I was thinking like if they are expecting those kind of person, and y they had invested the time time for my resume and conduct the interview process. I was very much disappointed. And I found in naukri JD also is like list of technologies... Thanks for this video Krish, now I got motivated..

I recently faced a similar situation. I was given an Assignment for an Internship. The company which provided me with it is a fairly large organization. I had completed and submitted the Assignment. It did a fairly good job. They didn't get back to me after I had submitted it. Later I found out that they have an existing product similar to the Assignment given. Maybe just wanted various opinions to make their product better.

it's free but for limited RAM of 12gb. A huge dataset needs more RAM to train. if you need more RAM you need to pay for it.

Welp, google colab is free, but the infra is not too much. You can’t do big data or train data that is large. You can try Kaggle Kernel. They offer 16GB of RAM and even accelerator. It is time limited for 9 hours.
