Sage is the international name. I first learnt of it from a foreigner. There are also many other herbs out there that does the same thing as Sage. Some very very serious herbs does exists

Well i have used white sage and blue sage without any bad or weird experiences. But I've heard someone said not everyone can use it, i heard that lately. So idk 🤷‍♀️.

No skin is used for parchment paper. It must be some other kind of paper.

Parchment paper was first made from the skin of cattle , deer and sheep . The US constitution was written on such Parchment. These days they call a durable paper for official documents Parchment paper. So you're not wrong but the original Parchment is different from modern Parchment paper.

The young calves are said to be better. Parchment paper is often used for important papers or documents.

Its true what Nanigel is saying. The original Parchment paper 📜 smells really bad. And i havent seen it in many many years. I first saw the real parchment paper back when my grandma was doing the work. These now are fake. I dont even use them
