This MAY NOT be a new scam! Many years back a similar thing happened to me & my dad in India. Someone we KNOW took my pic & told me to write my story saying he will find sponsor from FRANCE for my college education. After they took my pic & letter they are like lost. We never heard from them😂 They would avoid me when they call 📞 to talk to their relatives and I was at the relative’s home. BTW we didn’t ask for help, they offered! So it must be a scam
