Hi, welcome to Deaf Talks News.
Nowadays, there are many cyber crimes because of technological development.
For example, stealing money from one account to another.
Using many different SIM cards for fake calls and messages.
Therefore, many complaints have been submitted to the cybercrime department.
An investigation was conducted by various departments into the misuse of mobile connections.
For example, today we might get many calls from unknown numbers.
Therefore, these kinds of phone numbers are noted and registered as illegal activities.
Finally, the cybercrime department found that fraud was taking place using thousands of SIM cards on a single mobile phone.
Therefore, the cybercrime department directed the telecom companies to disconnect those mobile numbers on May 9th.
Initially, 28,220 SIM cards were ordered to be disconnected.
Later, 20 lakh connections associated with fraud were going to be disclosed.
If you want to know how many SIM cards are registered in your name, let me explain today.
Visit the official website of Sanchar Sathi, i.e., www.sancharsathi.gov.in
Click on the ‘Know Your Mobile Connections’ option.
