Kyrie is transcending. Lu-Ky are dominating. PJ, Gafford, Lively, Jones, and Exum are syncing and rising. Pure class and a pleasure to watch. After only 5 months together, the timing couldn't be better.

Only 6 of Kyrie’s 30 points were on Ant. They weren’t doubling Ant, he was too passive. Ant will be more aggressive in game 2 and if everyone else feeds off that energy they’ll win game 2.

Because he has a reputation as a lock down defender when he puts his mind to it, and up until game 1 last night he had been able to win his matchups against others like Bradley Beal, MPJ, and others in previous rounds. Kyrie probably considered that if nothing else and the media just knew that there was a chance something like last night could happen. It's not what he said, it's how he said it. He seemed to sure of himself which someone like Kyrie could see that as a challenge.
