i totally agree with the cloth idea after 2000 hours the cloth struggle never goes away thats why i mostly play lightly modded servers like 1.5x or 2x loot servers (ALSO quick tip you can only get components for cloth by hitting barrels nothing from crates gives cloth)

Ah, yeah I did notice that as we went (Tarps, rope etc..). I definitely think they should populate tiny amounts of cloth in barrels and/or in crates/baskets that you can loot, just like how they do with tiny amounts of scrap. Cloth is SO integral to your start, and while you need it all throughout, I feel like by the time you start to get a good flow of it is also around the time you barely need it by comparison. I think we had like 5k in my TC at one point in this solo playthrough but I felt like I only really really wanted cloth when we were just getting going

1:33 YO fox, Cloth is fairly easy to get once you make it to outpost. in one of the vending machines is a set of gloves for cheap that you can break down for a nice start on cloth. Just a heads up!

this game is like tarkov 24 hours.. scary when you play and you dont get a good nights sleep knowing your base may get raided

with the Rust+ app you can partially prevent that by sleeping in your shooting floor or main core and when you get killed it warns you on your phone and if you have a flank base with a few guns you can save your base. or if you look in the internet you can make more advanced electrical circuits to warn you when a wall gets destroyed for example or if your auto turret starts shooting. Its always good to have ways to defend your base to outsmart the raiders. you can also live with a zerg so there are always people online or make friends with your neighbors, I've heard stories that they help people defend their bases if you gain their trust.

As your learn the game, ik it would be hard work, but describing some of the details about the game (as you would with your Tarkov videos at times)as you play would be cool; i.e. the example about the pickaxe and *not* hitting the spark on the first hit is actually faster.

You *can* get cloth from barrels, just recycle rope and sewing kits

It's good times, steep learning curve but not as steep as Tarkov's imo once you understand the basics how to (hopefully) survive and get your base down. I think on the flipside though, Rust feels more stressful at first because you have zero safe haven to collect your thoughts (and loot), whereas Tarkov when your character dies, you can at least think about your next move and have backup gear in your stash. Most Rust servers wipe weekly though so the progression is much faster and easier overall by comparison for that reason

I'd like to see you play DayZ lol. Especially since it's bushcamp city, and stupidly brutal. The entire playerbase is just a bunch of rats, loot goblins, and chads all at the same time. Chad rats? Love the rust content. Tarkov is great but for people who are even semi-experienced with the game, every wipe is pretty straightforward more or less. Rust has complete volatility.

Yeah it's interesting how there's a bit of a crossover between the full loot drop intense style of both games, but otherwise they're a very different experience, especially where Rust is open world and you have to be a lot more mindful with how you interact with others, whereas Tarkov if someone is rude in VOIP, it almost doesn't matter because you will probably never run into them in another raid

I'm still streaming/uploading Tarkov regularly and made several posts about it, though as the channel grows it's nice to branch out a little too. I'm definitely not going to get Kappa before the next wipe though, we're way too far behind. I have plenty of fun adventures on the way for Tarkov though, one of which is next week
