NFC enabled POS and cards are in place for at least 8 years now in Western countries. Though NFC cards are in circulation in our country for last 3 years or so, the NFC enabled POS or merchants are growing extensively only since this last one year. The banks can issue such cards always keeping the NFC feature disabled by default, as most people are still not aware of the pros and cons of this advanced system. Good video of awareness.

I see this as a very important message. You have explained this in a very subtle way. It is a message that is most needed by all those who are educated and illiterate in the current situation. Bank need to stop .. the bank offering such new offers and new services without security

Though it is a good awareness message, one cannot steal money easily like that. Every POS machine will have unique ID and linked to a bank account, say the Shop Name will be its ID and linked to that Merchant's Bank Account. Once a transaction is made from the Card to the POS, knowingly or unknowingly, the POS sends transaction message for that AMOUNT to the Card owner's Bank Server. If sufficient BALANCE is available in his account, the Bank server will send an approval to the POS & then the Merchant's Bank Account will get the CREDIT. Immediately the card owner gets a SMS from his bank (as his mobile no is compulsorily linked to the account) quoting the details of transaction including the "Amount, POS Shop details, Date & Time etc." In case of any misuse, the culprit ie the person misusing the POS will be traced easily. Just for Rs.5,000/- [which is maximum for a contact-free transaction] the shop owner/employee will not misuse & get caught. Even un-educated or less educated persons are conversant with Digital Transactions now-a-days. So not to worry much & be cautious anyway.

Guys There is nothing to worry too much about Contactless card ,coz whenever you use your card first time in any kind machine, it will ask for pin. Then if you're not feel safe about you can set the contactless spent limit using your mobile app. Just tap and spend money. Western countries are way ahead in banking & money handling. Words 'access, enable, disable, POS' may only make it sound more technical- you are actually trying to simplify technical stuff, but because of English it is going more out of reach. I have been living in UK for the past 3-4 years and trust me, contactless cards really advantageous and it's very widely used in western countries.. the simplest way to use this effectively is to link your debit cards to your phone's google pay (provided your phone supports NFC payment).. then u never need to carry your ATM cards anywhere and all you have to do is just turn on NFC option prior to payment and switch it off later and you should be able to make the payment using your mobile & your money will be safe with you !!

First thing, by default this NFC on the card will be disabled on all the card's respective banks. And the next one will be if someone enables NFC then for sure he or she knows the cons and pros that come with it so for the person it should be okay to call or drop a message to the bank. Also, the most important one will be ENABLING SMS OPTION FOR YOUR ACCOUNT. this will send you an instant message when you debit or credit your account. Hope this helps 😊

This is introduced for small volume transaction and coolest feature introduced for customer convenient and easy check out. Communication between pos and card is very secure. POS machine issued for legitimate business owners and fraud can’t easily get the POS machine.. and these txns can be easily tracked end2end . Usually they wont steal money using this method. In foreign country this quite famous.. pls don’t create this kind of panic among ppl.

Hello team you create wonderful interesting and informative videos kudos to you. We can disable NFC on our card by taking to nearest branch our our bank and instead of using an aluminum foil which looks messy and even it may scratch out car buy an NFC protection wallet which comes around 500 or go with a NFC protection card cover which costs around 50rs ipo lan oru debit card ke we pay 300 to 500 to the bank so ig this is not a big deal to save our card 🤗
