@@justincolt2558 As nice as Metallica is it ain't close. Be'lakor is in a league of it's own really. Check out Seraphical Euphony for some more good melodic black metal. And everyone knows Amon Amarth. Some good bangers for sure. But having to sing about viking stuff every song limits them in a way other melodic black metal bands are free of.

To me, their best album to date, it's mature, it follows a natural history, it's written as a story that adds to itself, like the title suggets It's coherent, almost no bands achieve such a coherent album and this really impressed me, was not expecting this level of love to the art, and boy they delivered, honestly I believe this album will pass on as one of the best albums ever writter in metal.

Instantly loved this single. Now that we already had two songs from the album realeased, you can already tell that the opening transitions resemble the story that's taking place. Continuing, it instantly took me back to Stone's Reach. The tempo and the riffs, absolutely brilliant. The sheer diversity that you can feel as the song advances makes a beautiful composition. The parts are integrated seamlessly, with harmonics paving the way to a perfect revelation and closure at around 7:00. But wait there's more! I honestly believe this was such a fun song to play and record. Thank you for this, it will be paid it's well deserved listening respect.

Im not a big music person, I dont understand anything music theory - but from my civi perspective it seems theyve been getting better muscly, and I thought it would be hard to out do themselves with Vessels... But this is Coherence has been outstounding. Their biggest 'issue' they had, to me a civi, has always seemes to be production value I can hear this musical talent in some of their older stuff. Not to mention the lead singer has evolved as a metal singer and his voice is as brutal as ever... Anyways I wish I had the language to express my appreciation for this band especially more but I'll just go to my civi life again and listening to this when Im working out

It very well could be. On the other side... thinking about songs you didnt list... like in parting, an embers arc, venator and even less known songs like outlive the hand, held in hollows, by moon and star... i think if it comes to songs from belakor, there is no black or white, no good or bad. every song has its special feeling about it, its story, its unique structure and built up. i think we just have to be thankful that they are doing what they are doing without losing quality to it, even tho they arent that commercially succesful.

When this came out, I was in a deep clinical depression, and this video was one of the few things that helped me immensely during that time. And I mean this not in an abstract way: Watching this was the first thing that made the destructive thought patterns that had fucked me over for years just go silent for 9 minutes straight. I have probably listened to this thousands of times since then and i still do today. I am by no means saying that the song cured me or something, but it was the first sign that a return to normality was even possible, something that I had not believed before. If you've ever wondered if your work has done an impact: Yeah man, it very much has.
