I generally don't care about lyrics (I love vocals), which is ironic as I am a 25-year copywriter. But these guys write EXCEPTIONAL lyrics - so crafted, dark, and heavy without being stupid or cheesy.

I've listened to this band for over 10 years now, love them, one of my all-time favorites, and even after listening to some songs hundreds of times there are some that I still have never looked at the lyrics for. Every time I do I'm surprised by how good they are. One of these days I'm gonna have to actually just sit down and go look up the lyrics and experience the songs with the story included. They really add a lot of emotional impact. In Parting is a good example of that.

Be'Lakor ist eine meiner absoluten Lieblingsbands! Ich habe mich so gefreut sie dieses Jahr endlich das erste Mal Live zu sehen auf dem Wacken! Es war der absolute Wahnsinn! Mein Lieblingssong ist "In Parting" Bandwunsch von mir wäre noch Skalmöld! Ich Liebe die Isländer. Falls du Sie noch nicht kennst, die wären glaube ich auch was für dich! LG aus Bremen

@@Zwodrey sehr cool Danke 🤗 Die bekanntesten Songs von Skalmöld sind wohl " Kvadning" , " Gleipnir" oder " Nidavellir" . Mein Lieblingssong ist aber "Mara". Musst du wissen was du da am liebsten nimmst zum Starten. Und falls es was vom neusten Album sein soll, dann ist " Verdandi" auch sehr gut. Oder auch Live Auftritte mit dem Isländischen Orchester kann ich sehr empfehlen. 🤗 Die netten Isländer kommen auch jetzt Oktober noch auf Deutschlandtour. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Kostet nicht die Welt und ist eine absolute Top Liveband. Ich gehe selbst in Hamburg am 14.10 wieder hin und freue mich riesig. Gruß Malte 🥳
