Ryan it's 2 years later and I know you have passed away but I am still here watching your videos. I have gotten so much strength and encouragement from your words. I am feeling really stressed right now. I have been struggling to over comes some character defects that I cannot see that I have made any progress on and I tend to be really hard on myself. I really wish that you were still alive and I know that your wife and children must be missing your terribly. Truly you were like a Messiah for recovering addicts. I think about how far I have come with your help and so many other people I would not be where I am today. I often struggle staying humble in certain areas of my life but I always remain greatful and feel blessed.

He had a blood disorder that he talked about on some of his videos. He got a blood clot in his lung and passed away in September, 2018.

Also please understand that "stress" comes in many many different forms not just big stressors like losing a job or having a challenging home life but little stresses --day to day things such as not giving yourself enough time in the morning to get breakfast or neglecting tooth pain because of poor dental health....really take the time to assess your own needs.

This is exactly what I am doing NOTHING and I MEAN NOTHING is too much for my recovery. There are days that I am so happy I can't even stand myself haha embrace the fullness of life! I also have a supportive boyfriend and family that helps tremendously.

My God the Ego controls me like no other. Pushing my limits testing myself helps calm the ego and keeps me humble. Changing your life to be free and truly be yourself without the social mask is the goal. But dam it's like meditation. It seems to take a lifetime of practice to master if ever.. Stress is a big juggernaut. A constant balancing act. Without the exercise, meditation reading and finding a way to calm the monkey in our minds it is debilitating. Working on it. Thanks Ryan what an excellent post. So true and priceless advice

It's day 13 not taking my medication / oxycodone, I'm having lots of abdominal pain, but I feel so liberated not taking those pills every day. Thank You Ryan for your wonderful videos. Has anyone gone through a time where your feet, hands, and the back of your neck become so itchy that you can scratch yourself so much that you can cos your skin to bleed? I have been going through this for the past two days. My sister told me that the opioids can come through your feet.

+Lone Ranger itching can also be a symptom of restless body syndrome, and if so benadryl will make it worse. Try some magnesium.

I really want to get off oxycodone I've been on it for almost 2 years 100mg a day. I'm 19 years old and I just don't want to do this anymore. I suffer from depression without the pills and I tried cold turkey I made it 5 days but the insomnia gets to me so bad that I can handle it. I dont have anyone here for me. im wondering if you have any good advice. I just stumbled upon this channel and I'm happy I did.
