Be Prepared is a song from the hit Disney film The Lion King. This version is excellent for more advanced level piano players. Be Prepared is sung by Scar in the movie as he is preparing to assert dominance over the other lions and rule the lion population. Other than the original Lion King movie, Be Prepared also features in The Lion King 1 and 1/2, The Lion King musical and Festival of The Lion King, where the song is performed often with a brief soliloquy by Scar.

You know, listening to the movie version, I always got so caught up in Jeremy Irons'/Jim Cummings' awesome vocal performance that I tended not to pay much attention to the actual melody.
